70th Anniversary Design Contest
We are holding a design contest honoring our 70th Anniversary milestone. We are calling all artists and creators of all ages to design our limited edition 70th Anniversary Bengies graphic.
The design will be used for the Anniversary year of 2026, but we will market the items during THIS 70th SEASON as well as through next year which actually IS our Anniversary year.
Designs will be featured on merchandise and digital media such as bengies.com and our social media channels.
ELIGIBILITY & CONTEST DETAILS
Eligibility: Open to all fans of the Bengies Drive-In theatre.
Entry Deadline: June 6, 2025, by 11:59 PM PT.
Design Elements: Designs should include one or more of the following elements.
1. Capture the fun and joy of a group of friends and family at the drive-in.
2. Highlight the beauty & uniqueness of The Bengies Drive-In Theatre, such as the GIANT screen or marquee.
3. Showcase the array of colorful and tempting concession treats.
4. History of the Bengies.
5. You are free to use your imagination and include elements you like that are not listed in 1 through 4 above.
PRIZES
1st Place: Platinum Ticket Package – A Season Pass to the Bengies Drive-In Theatre, which includes all admissions in your vehicle and a T-shirt with your design.
Runner up(s): Golden Ticket package – 5 All in the car passes
JUDGING CRITERIA
Marketability, originality, design attractiveness, adherence to the theme, and overall impact.
IMPORTANT GUIDELINES
Use creative interpretations of the design elements, celebrating The Bengies Drive-In Theatre.
No AI-generated artwork will be accepted.
Artwork is preferred to be submitted as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG, JPEG, or PDF) through the submission form below.
HOWEVER, considering children are invited to submit ideas, if you wish to send us artwork on paper, etc, we can accept that as well. Please scan and send that to us through the submission form below, or you can use the US Mail for hand drawn graphics. (Bengies Drive-In Theatre, 3417 Eastern Blvd., Middle River, MD 21220)
Judgment is at the sole discretion of The Bengies Drive-In Theatre.
Though not required, we encourage creative interpretations of The Bengies Logo(s). However, should you choose to use the logo in your design, you can request it by emailing contacts@bengies.com
